T&M supplies and designs a Utilidor System (a series of underground heated tunnels) for a 3,000-man construction camp in Prudhoe Bay, Alaska.

Awarded the mechanical contract for Mount Royal College Richmond Road Campus.

Mike Ryan buys his first T&M shares in 1983.

Work on Sun Life Towers—three identical office towers connected at ground level by retail space—is completed.

Alberta Children's Hospital (17th Ave. S.W.) addition is completed.

T&M works on Calgary Herald Building in Mayland Heights.

Plumbing and piping are installed at a 1,400-man Atco camp in Inuvik, N.W.T. The camp includes libraries, a movie theater, and a pool.

In 1988, T&M purchases Hutchison Electric, forming the Electrical Division.
