In her five-part series titled Work in Progress, Calgary Herald journalist and Michelle Lang Fellow, Jessica Barrett, explores the ways in which our working lives are changing and the many factors contributing to these changes as both employees and organizations struggle to respond and adapt. Barrett's 2013 interview with then-HR Manager, Penny Masear, was published in part three of this series, Beyond Stereotypes: The challenges and opportunities of our multi-generational workforce. The article focuses on demographic shifts in the workplace and highlights some of the ways in which Trotter & Morton has embraced our multi-generational workforce as part of a greater trend in the industry to adapt to the changing needs of younger and older generations.
