A LEED Platinum Project
The EEEL building at the University of Calgary uses less than 78% of energy compared to other conventional laboratory buildings, and was recently awarded LEED Platinum Status. The building consists of undergraduate laboratories, classrooms, seminar rooms and individual and group study space. The EEEL building uses the sun for natural light and for heat.
T&M was responsible for all mechanical services, including sheet metal, sprinklers, insulation, building management systems, 3D Modeling, BIM Integration, commissioning and quality assurance.
