Trotter & Morton Board of Directors mandate is to provide governance and oversight for the company to ensure ethical conduct, policies and procedures are followed, risk evaluation and strategic supervision and monitoring.
Their varied extensive backgrounds and education come together to create a truly unique support system for the entire company. The Board of Directors works closely with the Executive team to uphold the company’s vision and values with a dedication to quality and safety.
David Ryan is the current CEO for the TMGOC, working closely with the executive team Dave provides executive oversight to all operating divisions. He has been with Trotter and Morton for over 25 years holding a number of positions gaining experience and perspective from each role.
As CEO David’s objective has been to instill a collaborative approach throughout the organization to help guide the Trotter & Morton Group of Companies. Drawing from his deep history with the company he steers the TMGOC forward into a strong future with an emphasis on safety, accountability, technological advances, and strategic development of target markets & partnerships.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Calgary, as well as a Red Seal ticket from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology as a Journeyman Steam Fitter / Gas Fitter.
David continues to provide guidance to the Facility Service Operations at all 9 locations to ensure full implementation and proper application of the LINC Service Model. He has also held a position on the Advisory Council for the ABM Franchising group since 2010.
As the Chief Financial Officer, Steve is responsible for the financial operations of the Trotter and Morton Group of Companies. Steve has been with the company since 2009, beginning his journey as Controller. As a member of the Corporate Services team, he provides leadership for several of T&M’s key shared services including Human Resources, Information Technology and Administration. Prior to joining Trotter and Morton, Steve spent 5 years with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Calgary where he obtained his Chartered Accountant (CA) designation in 2008.
As Chief Operating Officer, Craig is responsible for the construction operations of the Trotter & Morton Group of Companies. Craig has been with the company since 2009, beginning his journey as an Electrical Project Manager / Estimator.
As part of the construction team, he provides leadership to several of Trotter & Morton's business units including Electrical, Mechanical, Bow River Paving, Industrial Services, Rambler, and Whaler. Prior to joining Trotter & Morton, Craig spent 12 years with Raffin Electric in various positions from apprentice electrician to Project Manager.
