Located approximately 725 km north of Winnipeg on the lower Nelson River , The Keeyask Project is a 695-megawatt (MW) hydroelectric generating station that is being developed in a partnership between Manitoba Hydro and 4 Manitoba First Nations: Tataskweyak Cree Nation, War Lake First Nation, York Factory First Nation, and Fox Lake Cree Nation. Working together, the Partners are known collectively as the Keeyask Hydropower Limited Partnership.
TMIC was responsible for the supply and installation of the Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) System in the Powerhouse, Service Bay, Control Building and Spillway at the Keeyask Project. Work included installation of 9 Rooftop Air Handling Units (51,000 CFM and over 39,000 lbs. each), over 100,000 lbs. of associated duct work, insulation, HVAC Control System and associated Instrumentation.
