Project Details

Draw Energy completed the electrical and instrumentation integration for a meter station fabrication and field installation project supporting oil and gas operations in Northern Alberta. The project included the integration of two ultrasonic meter skids and one instrument building, with fabrication and testing completed in Acheson, Alberta, followed by field installation and commissioning in Northern Alberta.

The scope of work included the receiving, handling, and installation of owner-supplied equipment, along with the supply and installation of cable tray systems, Teck cabling and connectors, junction boxes, lighting, receptacles, thermostats, and conduit and wiring installed in accordance with hazardous area classification requirements. Additional work included grounding and bonding of equipment and tray systems, completion of low-voltage power and control terminations, and full electrical and instrumentation installation including tubing and calibration.

Draw Energy completed commissioning and testing with the client’s representative, provided comprehensive QA/QC documentation and as-built drawings, and achieved CSA certification upon completion. With a total project value of $500,000, the project was delivered safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all applicable codes and standards.
