Draw Energy was engaged to deliver the electrical and controls scope for offsite electrical buildings supporting a gas plant in Calgary, Alberta. The project included the supply and installation of low- and medium-voltage electrical systems for two low-voltage MCC buildings and two medium-voltage MCC buildings.

Scope of work encompassed the receiving, handling, and installation of owner-supplied equipment, installation of UPS systems and battery banks, PLCs and control panels, and power distribution equipment including panels and transformers. Additional work included cable tray systems, Teck cabling and connectors, junction boxes, lighting and receptacles, as well as comprehensive grounding and bonding of equipment and tray systems.

Draw Energy also completed medium- and low-voltage power terminations, control terminations, commissioning and testing alongside the client’s representative, and full QA/QC documentation. With a total project value of $620,000, the project was delivered safely, efficiently, and in alignment with the client’s operational requirements.
