The 3-phase redevelopment project at Peter Lougheed Centre in Calgary, Alberta included improvements to the Women’s Health Unit and the Vascular Surgery Unit. Phase 1, completed in 2014, included the relocation of the impacted departments such as the Hemodialysis Unit and Pediatric Inpatient Unit. Phase 2, completed in 2015, incorporated the Vascular Surgery Unit which created the first integrated vascular center in Alberta. Phase 3, completed in 2017, involved the Women’s Health Unit.

Trotter & Morton’s mechanical team was responsible for project accounting, cost estimating, project scheduling, safety, and quality control for all phases of the project. All own forces labour and subcontractors (Controls, Electrical, Fire Protection, Insulation, and Seismic), medical gas, plumbing, heating and cooling, and equipment supply and install.
