The South Health Campus is a 642-bed hospital that was built based on collaboration, innovation, wellness, and patient & family centered care.

Services include general medicine; general surgery; emergency; psychiatry; obstetrics; gynecology and women’s health; critical care medicine; neurology and stroke care; pediatrics; and mental health. Highly specialized inpatient services include trauma services, cardiac sciences and neurosurgery services. Capacity for 800,000 ambulatory visits per year.

Trotter & Morton’s electrical team was brought on early in the design phase to provide pre-construction recommendations and assist with the electrical design, scope, and budget.

Trotter & Morton was responsible for all Electrical (Z32-2 compliant), Voice/Data, Fire Alarm, Distribution, Nurse Call, and Patient Wandering. As the Electrical Construction Manager, we also provided value added services such as: cost control/budgeting estimates, progressive tendering, commissioning, project coordination, and quality control ISO 9001.
