Project Details

The Science A Building at the University of Calgary was the second building built on campus. Phase one of the renovations included a 2-Storey addition to the west wing adding two 120-seat lecture halls, and computer labs. Phase two consisted of an addition to the north with that included two 250-seat lecture halls, and additional space to the science workshop.

Trotter & Morton was responsible for new and renovated electrical and data construction. We completed fire alarm and code upgrade, data infrastructure upgrade, distribution upgrade, new laboratory construction, greenhouse power and lighting upgrade.

Trotter & Morton was able to complete this renovation with little disruption to the students and faculty. By performing any loud works on weekends or during night-shift work, we were able to reduce and mitigate any impact to the students learning facilities and keep the building operational during the renovation.
